Customer Question

Hi, my Smeg washer dryer is not heating up. Recently had engineer out a number of times - thermostat not tripped and he's changed thermostat. He told me to put it on the hottest wash I could and then try it - this seemed to work for a while - I got about 3 hours of drying done but now stopped again! Tried the hot wash cycle yesterday, put the dryer on this morning and it's not getting hot! any ideas please?

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! Intermittent operation is usually related to failure of the main control module rather than a thermostat or heating element issue.

May I please have your model number so I am able to provide you with accurate, model specific information?
