HOW do I remove the cover to access the thermostat on a diplomat AMP6842fridge freezer?
There is a clip holding the thermostat spindle in place but appears to be no retaining screws for the plastic casing?

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! There is one inset retaining screw right behind the knob. Once it is removed, the control housing will pull down and may be slid out of position. The picture at the link below shows the back side of that control.
