Customer Question

Our machine keeps getting stuck at the point on every cycle. There's not alot of water in the drum & its making a strange whirring sound. We've cleared the filter twice. Any other ideas? Thanks

Thanks for that.

If you set the washer going on a spin only cycle do you hear the pump running?

If you listen very carefully at the filter do you hear a slight humming noise comming from there?

Can't really tell whether pump is working or not, but hear a whirring noise if that helps?

Ok lets see what the error code is.

Turn the dial to the 12 oclock position.

Press and hold the start button and turn the washer on.

Keep the button held in and after a few seconds the error code will come up E??

Let me know the code and then just turn the washer off again.

Thanks for that. This error code confirms its a draining issue.

What you need to do is remove the filter again and this time look inside the chamber were the filter goes and in there at the back is the pump impeller X shape.

Check theres nothing stuck in there jamming the impeller up. As if this doesnt run then the water cannot drain out.

If thats fine then you need to check the waste hose and were it drains to. If it goes under a sink then remove the spigot it pushes onto and check theres nothing blocked in there as well.

But if all the above is fine and its still not draining the water then its more then likely the drain pump at fault and will need to be replaced from there.

If you need anymore info just get back to me.
