Hi, I'm Daniel and I'll be helping you today I've been repairing white goods for 20+ yrs. and currently work for a well-know manufacturer.
Ok its only 2 screws which hold the motor onto the drum.
So with them screws out you need to pull the motor forward and it will come off its mounting lugs.
Sometimes it can be quite tight so what I use is a rubber hammer and hit the back of the motor in the center and it will come off its lugs.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks Daniel, Motor is now off , boy it was stiff to remove:-)
Looks like the brushes are totally worn out they are only 11mm long.
Your very welcome. I know sometimes ive needed the rubber hammer to get them off.
Just replace the brushes and that should cure it. Ive seen it 100s of times the door lock light flashing and its nearly always worn carbon brushes.
