Hi I have an indesit iwme126 and the door wont open and the handle is floppy how do I go about getting to open?

Welcome, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.

It sounds like the handle has broken.
Disconnect from the mains
Remove the lid and lean the machine back at 45 degrees
Look inside towards the door lock
You’ll see the latch sticking through the lock
Slide this across and the door will open
If the handle is broken, take photographs before you dismantle it to replace it, they are notoriously difficult to re assemble without a picture

Let me know if you need a link to the parts.
In the meantime,

Can I ask you to take a moment and rate my response? Please use the smiley faces which you should now see. Please remember you are rating me personally, not the website or the problems you have had with this machine.

Nice one Rob I got it theres a small white piece of plastic that's broken off on the door part where the metal latch hits where is the best place to buy one from?

Hi Andy

Couple of places are out of stock, but here has it

Just remember to take the door of the hinge first. Lay the door on a table and take pictures of the spring etc.

Please don't forget to rate so I get credit for helping you today
