Hi, I have a Samsung RS21WCNS American style fridge freezer. It is just over five years old and therefore outwith the guarantee period.
The fridge temperature has risen to around 16 degrees and will not go any lower irrespective of temperature setting.
There is also a noise like something spinning, sounds like a piece of card on a bicycle spoke, which stops when you open the door and then restarts after a short while.
The freezer appears to be unaffected.

Drcool : Hello, this is a usual problem with RS21. The evaporator coil in the fridge section is frosted up. That would be inside the fridge lower section, at the back of the drawers.
Drcool : The evaporator coil is covered with ice and that is what you are hearing, a fan blade touching the ice.
Drcool : what you can do is remove the drawers, remove the inside back wall of the fridge where the drawers were.
Drcool : You would see the fan as well as the evaporator coil. Thaw everything in there and check the drain hole at the center of he drain pan at the bottom of the evaporator coil. Make sure you melt the ice inside the drain hole.
Drcool : then plug it back and observe the fridge temp if it would start o go down again. Thanks.
