I have a Hotpoint Ultima super silent dishwasher SDW80.

I noticed the water flooding out onto the floor and I realised the outlet pipe was blocked and switched off the machine to pull it out. I cleaned out the pipe and emptied the machine, but when I pushed it back in it keeps showing " AL 01 " and the machine comes remains on itself, cannot get it to reset.
Welcome, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be helping you with your problem today. If anything isn't clear, please just ask me.

When you say the machine stays on, is this a pump that seems to be running constantly?
If so, does it stop if you open the door?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

ya it seems to be that and when you open the door it stops. Have tried resetting and it won't let me.

Hi Susan
Great, thanks

It sounds like the machine has water in the base, where the pumps are.

This sets the flood guard and the discharge pump will run continuously in an effort to protect the electrics in the base.
Turn off the electric.
Pull machine forward.
Put towels down behind the machine.
Tilt machine back at 45 degrees.
Water will come out the back.
The machine should now be reset.
If this re occurs you have a leak and will need to find it and rectify it .

If you need more help, please just ask me.
