why is my zanussi zud 9100 freezer noisy

Drcool :

Hello, Where do you think the noise is coming from? From the inside or from the outside? Can you describe the kind of noise that you hear please?

Customer:

not sure if i open the door and bang it shut again it stops for a few minutes the noise is like a engine running

Drcool :

Ok. You can try moving the unit back and fort again, it could be the compressor that could have mis-aligned and is now making the noise of an engine.

Customer:

it is a built in freezer so can not move it

Drcool :

ok. If it was moved slightly by closing the door, then maybe you can try to pull it slightly, it could just be a very small clearance with something at the back touching the compressor area. Only the compressor can create such a vibration noise like a motor running.

Customer:

o'kay will try that

Drcool :

I will be here waiting.

Customer:

just rocked it seems to have worked save me buying a new one

Drcool :

That is good to hear.

Customer:

thank you

Drcool :
