Can a indesir counter top dishwasher be put on a shelf below the counter and be in a space 600mm wide or does it have any vents etc that need space around it?Thanks
Optional Information: What have you tried so far?: looking at specs on line
Hiya,
Can you post the model number of the appliance please?
.
Thanks
Indesit ICD661
Thanks,
Mary
Thanks for that.
How is the machine connected to the house drains at the moment?
Does the water get pumped up before going down to the waste?
When you say it will be on a shelf, will there be a cupboard door on it too?
Hi,
It is not installed yet. There will be no door on it, it will be on a 600mm wide shelf in a kitchen unit. It will have a free flowing drain line to waste. I am more worried about it overheating ie does it need to have clear sides for venting?
I'm looking at the service manual but it's not too clear on the casing of the machine.
Does the casing have vents on the side of the appliance? (None are showing in the diagrams so thought it best to ask and make sure).
Not sure what you mean by "free flowing drain line". Can you advise on this please?
The drain has plenty of gravity is what I mean. do you have a contact at the manufacturer that you can check with to see if there is any minimium distance that is needed around the unit to ensure it does not heat up?
I have the service and parts manuals for it.
Unfortunately, as I explained in my previous post, the manuals are not clear on the side casings.
Do they have vents or not?
