Hiya,

What exactly happens when you try using the oven?

Does the fan run?

Does the temperature indicator come on?

Do you have, and can you use, a multimeter?

.

Thanks

Hi Fan works, but no heat, all lights etc work, no dont have a multimeter.

Hiya,

Thanks for that.

Not sure if "all lights" means the temperature indicator is working.

I'll work on the assumption that it does.

.

I'll advise on the most likely cause of the fault.

There are other less likely causes but you do need to check this first.

.

Isolate the power to the appliance.

Take it out and take the rear panel off.

.

Check the wiring to the element first, ensure none of the wiring has fallen off.

.

If the wiring is ok, follow the wires back.

You should find that 1 (or possibly 2) go through a thermal cut out. (small thermostatic item).

You need to check if this has failed.

It will have 2 connections to it, note where the wires fit.

.

Take the wires off of it and temporarily join them together.

Insulate them and try the oven.

If it begins heating you need a new cut out thermostat.

.

Let me know what you find or if you need more help.

.

Hope this helps

Thanks
