Hi there, I have an indesit widl 126s washer dryer with flashing lights coming on, its the red door light and two green lights which are the extra rinse light and the 1200-600 light. These same lights come on no matter which cycle it try to use, the water fills up and the cycle will begin for a few seconds and then the lights will start flashing. any ideas.
Already Tried: switched off appliance removed plug and tried again. also checked water hose pipe and its clear and the pump at the bottom checked that its clear and it is. Had top off machine cleaned out powder dispenser disconnected most removeable wires and replaced again.
Hi
Them lights you have flashing is a F03 error code.
F03 is a wash thermistor problem.
If you are looking at doing the repair yourself you need to pull the washer out and take the back cover off.
From there you will see the heater and the thermistor in the back of the drum towards the bottom is the thermistor it will have 2 thin wires going to it.
Make sure none on the wires are broken.
If you have a multimeter then you can test the thermistor. It should give a reading in Kohms. If faulty then the heater will need to be replaced.
If thats fine then just check the heater as this should read about 28 ohms.
If the above is all ok then its more then likely going to be a faulty control board at the back here im afraid.
Check it out and see what you find.
Regards
Hi there mate
Just use a small flat bladed screwdriver and gently prise the thermistor out.
As to a replacement part you can get it from any spares shop either local to you or online.

Hi mate thanks for reply, I borrowed a multimeter and tried it. It never gave me a reading when i touched the two plugs that went into the thermister. just read 000 i did this when it was switched on and the error lights were still flashing and also when the two wires were not connected, however when i touched the plugs going into the heater, it read 0.27 Does that mean its the control board or the thermistor. Also is the control board an expensive part or does it mean a new washer.
Hi mate thanks for reply, I borrowed a multimeter and tried it. It never gave me a reading when i touched the two plugs that went into the thermister first of all but tried a few times and it read between 960-990, it did this intermittently not sure if i was doing it right. when i touched the plugs going into the heater, it read 0.27 Does that mean its the control board or the thermistor. Also is the control board an expensive part or does it mean a new washer.
Ok i think the reading you will have got will be in Kohms going of the readings you got. Which in this case says the heater and thermistor is ok here.
In this case the control board will be the fault. This is quite expensive the cheaper way to get it repaired is through indesit on there fixed price repair which is about £105.
Other then this its a new washer im afraid.
