bosch classixx 1200 express washing machine makes noise in filter pump when used.the pump cover has been removed and cleaned out to no avail

can you try to describe the noise?
Does it empty and function normally?
Further information is it only started making the noise when it when onto the spin cycle my wife stopped and drained the washing machine when she heard the noise.I cleaned out the filter and checked the drum bearings.As explained before the noise appears to be coming from the area of the filter.I presume that is a small filter pump.

Yes donot know if it will drain because didnot like to keep it going

Yes there were a number of hair pins and a bra wire was caught in the impeller
so the noise, waht is like a rapid pinging noise?
Difficult to describe I have got my wife to start the spin cycle whist I am looking underneath it is not a pinging sound just a loud dull sound that it should not be making
does the machine have a drain only programme?
Think so it says drain on the dial my wife has just gone out for a few minutes she uses it
Put the machine on drain only with the filter removed. Listen at the filter opening is it still there and coming from there?
yes the noise is coming from the impeller
in that case you will need to replace the pump
do you want to see the replacement part?
Thanks is it a big job do you think I will be able to do it myself and what will be the approx. cost for a pump
its not a huge job, but you will need basic diy skills and be able to work on the floor

The 2nd item is just the filter
The 3rd and 4th items are the pump complete
You would need to check which is yours
