Customer Question

Hi,
Have a Creda T620CW Condenser Dryer about 5 years old. Starts fine but then cuts out in 10 to 30 seconds and then may not start again for a few hours, when the same thing happens again. Engineer has seen it and tells me a Relay neds replacing near main panel, but 10 weeks later he still does not have the part. Can I get the part? Is it difficult to fit?

Hiya,

It's possible the relay is the cause.

Double check with the supplier before ordering to ensure you get the correct relay.

If they won't post, you'll need to check with suppliers nearer home.

To change it, unplug the appliance.

Take the top off.

Look at the centre, rear, of the facia panel.

You should find the relay there.

Turn the drum an line up one of the holes with the relay, you can get to the screws then.

A magnetic screwdriver is the best for this.

Swap out the relay and try the machine again.

If the engineer diagnosed correctly, you'll be up and running again.

Check it out, see what you find and get back to me.

Hope this helps

Thanks
