Customer Question

The top spray nozzle can off on my Electrolux 6251 dishwasher and had to be put back on. I now have an error message -30 which says the anti flood system has been activated. Is this something I can deactivate myself ?

Hi

Ok if you have .30 error code water will have leaked into the base and has activated the antiflood switch.

What you need to do is either pull the dishwasher out and tip it 45 degs backwards. This will allow the water to drain out from the base so you may need a towel for this part.

Or if you cannot pull it out remove the wooden kick board along the bottom of the kicthen and remove the metal cover along the front at the bottom below the door.

Then use a sponge or towel to dry the water up out the base.

Then once its cleared the antiflood switch will reset itself and the error code will then clear.

Then retry the dishwasher and see how it goes. Hoepfully this will cure the problem here.

Can't pull dishwasher out to tilt and can't remove metal cover as impossible to undo screws with door in place. Any other suggestions ?

Hi

Remove the wooden door and see if you can get better access that way.

To remove the wooden door if installed correctly pull the door down.

Remove the screw in the top corner on both side.

Then look along the side at the bottom of the door and remove that bottom screw.

Then push the wooden door down and it should come off.

Thats if the installers have installed it correctly. If not then i couldnt tell you with out see it.

Then with the wooden door off you can access the metal cover a bit easyer.

Other then that there isnt anyother way if you cannot pull the dishwasher out.
