hello
do you have an answer for me?
what is the make and model of your washer
what lights are flashing>
It is a Hotpoint
The timer is flashing - it had been going for 10 minutes. I actually wonder if it was somehtign that workmen did yesterdya when they were lay8ing my flooring
Sorry for typos! They had to move the washer and the washer dryer.
When I look- it doesn't seem that there is water in the machine? Of courfse I can;t open the door.
Most flashing lights and displays indicate a mechanical malfunction of the washer and will require that you be able to take apart at least some parts.I am going to assume you are limited in actions you can do to determine the problem you are having with your washer and I would suggest that you contact hotpoint service to help you out. Are you in agreement about this.
Yes if you say this is the only thing to do. I am not able to do anything mechanical- I am an elderly lady!
I think at this time your internal lint filter on the pump may be clogged up and you will need to remove and clean it. This means that you will have to be able to tip the washer up against the wall to minimize water coming out on your floor.
Oops- there is no way I can do that!!
Here is a link to the hotpoint service centre. You should contact them and explain what is happening to your washer. they will advise you what steps need to be taken.
