Old style Cannon Gasmiser 3 Radiant fire (K16 Serial No.49993) working superbly but furry substance inside convector aperture looks suspiciously like soft asbestos lining. Did Cannon use such asbestos in their earlier models?
Already Tried: Have 'tried' nothing.

Hello, Sorry but I am not clear what kind of further information you require. The slight protrusion of what I assume to be insulation material evident inside the convector section of the cannon Gas Miser looked suspiciously like soft fibrous asbestos, hence my query. Warm regards Ray
