Hi, I have a Beko dishwasher, that suddenly wont wash any more.

Resolved Question:

Hi, I have a Beko dishwasher, that suddenly wont wash any more. It runs for ten minutes and then stops. A red light is on with a symbol of a brush of some sort, but I have no manual (it was here when I moved in).

Do I have to fill something up or do something, or is it broken?

Hi

Can you post the model number please.

Also when it does fill up will it start to wash ok?

Regards

Customer: replied 5 years ago.

There is no model-number to be found on the machine, but I did manage to find the manual (which didn't help) and on the backside it says: "K-Q TSE - ISO 9000"

I'm in Denmark btw if you have different lines for different nations.

The ligth for salt or "afspænding" does not light up, so I havent tried to add any.

It looks very much like this one:

Hi

Ok when you set it going will it fill with water?

Once its filled will it start to wash?

When it stops is it still full of water?

Regards

Customer: replied 5 years ago.

I start it and water begins to fill.

A bit later, when it ends, it is no longer filled with water. Everything is wet, though, as if it has run some sort of early dousch-program instead of the whole deal.

Hi

Ok i take it once it filled with water the wash motor came on and sprayed the water around the machine for the 10 minutes it ran for?

If so then its possible the heater is at fault of the control board.

Take the bottom inspection cover off below the door and you will see the heater cylinder. With a multimeter you need to test the heater and see if its faulty.

Also take the outer door panel off and check the wires in the loom as it goes down the door as a broken wire in there can also cause this.

If the heater and wiring is fine then its possible the control board itself may be the problem here.
