Customer Question

I have a Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher. The dishwasher tablet is seemingly not being released during the cleaning cycle. When opening the washer after the washing cycle has finished the tablet powder is lying on the floor of the washer, not dissolved. Is this a dishwasher or just a tablet problem?

Hello,
Thank you for using JustAnswer!
If you have any questions after reading my answer,be sure to let me know.

If the tablet releases and is found on the floor of the dishwasher it is most likley caused by the water not being hot enough.
Before you turn on the dishwasher run the hot water in the kitchen sink until it comes out very hot. The hot water heater may be a distance from the dishwasher.
If this fails to dissolve the tablet, then the dishwashers heating element may be faulty.
Or a combination of the two. Check that you set the dishwasher on a hot setting if it has one.

If the tablet releases and is found on the floor of the dishwasher it is most likely caused by the water not being hot enough.
In the UK the dishwashers are connected to the cold water pipe.
This means the machines heating element is most likely faulty.
