Hotpoint Dishwasher BF1620 - Second and third light flashing on control panel. Is it a problem with water filter valve?

Ok what you can try is remove the control panel on the front and on the control board you will see the wiring. Now 1 wire block at a time take them off and refit them to make sure all the connections are fine.


 


If after that its still doing the same then it sounds like the control board is faulty as its not responding to anything.

If its burnt then you will need to replace the board.


As to the wiring if thats gone that will need to be replaced as well.

The dishwasher does start its cycle but at the point where the water should run in , it dosen't. The dishwasher then beeps four times starts the cycle again for a mintue and then stops. When opened the two lights are flashing. Checked all wires one control panel and are ok and no sign of burning.

You most likley have a bad water supply valve. Or water solinoid valve as some call them.
