E4 is an antiflood problem.
What will have happend is water will be in the base and atcivated the switch.
What you need to do is pull the machine out and tip it 45 degs backwards. This will allow the water to drain out from the base.
Or take off the inspection cover on the front at the bottom below the door. From there use a sponge and soak the water up.
Once the water is dryed up from the base the antiflood will reset itself and the machine will start to work again from there.
