Hiya,

Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?

It will be on a label in the door recess normally.

Thanks

it is WVD2452BGB/01

Hiya,

Sorry for the delay.

Press and hold the "Finish In" button for at least 5 seconds to turn off the child lock.

You do need to select the programme it was on to take the lock off.

If this doesn't work, let me know.

This is from the service manual;

Touch the Finish in button and hold down

(for approx. 5 seconds) until the symbol

is displayed.

Release the Finish in button, the childproof

lock is activated, the symbol is permanently

on.

The childproof lock can only be deactivated if

the programme for activating the childproof

lock has been selected. The symbol will

continue to flash if a different programme

has been selected.

Touch the Finish in button and hold down

(for approx. 5 seconds) until the symbol goes

out.

If there is a power failure, the childproof lock

remains on.

Hope this helps

Let me know how it goes or if you need more help

Thanks
