siemens washing machine siwamat xli 1240 - spin indicator bleeping/flashing.The machine has been making loud noises recently.Today I put on a full cycle but has stopped at spin and is bleeping with spin light flashing.

The only thing we have is that its an integrated siwamat xli 1240 .
OK, there should be a label in the door recess.
Is it stopping full or empty of water.
Label reads - ENR.WXLI1240GB/14FD8512700293
SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER STILL IN THE MACHINE.
Sorry for the delay in this.
The fault code suggests the machine isn't draining the water fast enough.
The confusing part is, it only happens at the point of spin and not after the wash when it empties.
Drain the water out manually.
Check the drain hose where it connects to the house drains for a restriction/blockage.
Take the filter out and check there's nothing in there.
Try the machine again.
Check it out, see what you find.

Also the rubber between the door and drum seems to have twisted itself?
Is there an explanation for this, is it connected to the problem above do you think?
The rubber twisted would suggest something got caught in it and dragged it.
Take the retaining ring out and peel the seal off the front panel.
Refit it to the front panel and refit the retaining ring into the groove.
That should straighten it.
