Was anything other than the control board that was replaced?
Also why was that part replaced?

on this one get really close to the set and look at it in different positions, let me know if you can see a faint ghosting image at all, try this in different lighting conditions.

Have you checked all the power supply output voltages?
Hi, unfortunately given all that information.
You have a bad Plasma panel.
It is extremely expensive to order and replace. In this case, I really would replace the set.
You should at least have the ghosting, that would indicate a lighting circuit issue. But you have nothing with all else showing normal.
I wish I had better news for you, I really do. I have been a TV Technician for over 35 years hands on, so I knwo this well:-(

I will be here for another ten minutes this evening, then off until tomorrow morning at 7am EST;-)
If you haven't done all the voltage checks, you will need to do them.
I will get a copy of the service manual and the schematics so I can work with you. But usually this condition indicates a bad plasma panel.
