I need to ask for some more info here to help:
1) Are you able to get the model number off of the back of the Samsung (it's okay if not)?
2) Do you have any other sources connected BESIDES DTV that you can test to see if they show the same issue (DVD player, etc.)?
3) Since the TV is on it's own DTV box (which isolates it from the rest of the TV's), I need you to grab the original Samsung remote (it will still work) and press MENU. Does the TV's MENU image appear perfectly clear and vivid on the screen, or does it also fade towards the bottom of it?

Thanks, I'm not sure what you mean by the picture using the Samsung remote though? Did you pull up the MENU or something else?
