My 3 yr old 65 inch tv(Samsung) the lower 1/3 of screen is fading. I can see threw it but it is gray. Help!
JA: How old is your Samsung, and have you tried unplugging it and leaving it off for a few hours?
Customer: 3 yrs old. No I have not unplugged it
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Menu works. I use Directv. Other tvs are fine
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Nothing new happened. Suddenly 3-4 days ago it occurred
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?

I need to ask for some more info here to help:

1) Are you able to get the model number off of the back of the Samsung (it's okay if not)?

2) Do you have any other sources connected BESIDES DTV that you can test to see if they show the same issue (DVD player, etc.)?

3) Since the TV is on it's own DTV box (which isolates it from the rest of the TV's), I need you to grab the original Samsung remote (it will still work) and press MENU. Does the TV's MENU image appear perfectly clear and vivid on the screen, or does it also fade towards the bottom of it?

Tried the picture using the Samsung remote. Bottom of screen is gray also
