It says "no channels found", I have Xfinity comcast as my provider and neither the Insignia remote or the Comcast remote work.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Insignia is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It is probably 5-7 years old. I don't see a model number on the front, where would I find the number?
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Nothing is working, I just get the floating "no Channels Found" message.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: 2 days ago, and there was nothing unusual prior to that message.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?

Regarding the tv, this set is 2-3 times the life we'd expect of an insignia product. They are very poor quality and usually very short lived, but this actually does not sound like a tv failure at this point.

Wait, I don't think this is a tv issue though,

meaning the tv may not be faulty. From what you are describing, you more likely just have a faulty cable box or the tv is on the wrong input,

Try this, just take the insignia remote and press the INPUT (source) button, repeatedly, until you hit on whichever input mode (hdmi1, hdmi2, etc) where the cable box is connected, and that may bring the picture/sound back.
