My lg dishwasher has an error code of E1. It stops early in

Customer Question

My lg dishwasher has an error code of E1. It stops early in the cycle. We can't locate our manual. What would E1 be?
JA: Has this happened before? And have you tried unplugging your LG and leaving it off for a few hours?
Customer: No
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: This is a dishwasher. Did I get the wrong technician?
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Several months, just off and on. It doesn't happen every time. Usually if I turn it off and restart it will work. But it is no fun coming home from church expecting your dishes to be clean and the error code prevented that.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

iE or 1e error code on the display means water inlet error.
Water is not entering the dishwasher properly.
To fix this error…
1 – Make sure the water supply valve is in the open position.
2 – Be sure the water supply line isn’t bent, kinked, or clogged.
3 – Remove the water supply line on the dishwasher and run water into a pail or similar to test the flow of water.
4 – If still washer has error, replace the water inlet valve.
