I see that the tv does recognize that the HDMI device is plugged into the tv. What you need to do is change the Input to the HDMI port that the Amazon stick is plugged into. Are you able to do that?

Okay, so you have plugged the stick into the other HDMI port, with no good results?
Is the Amazon stick new or used?
Try doing the following:- While the stick is in the tv, unplug the power to the TV, plug it back in, and turn it on.
- Once it is back up, test it once more.
I have run out of ideas.

May I ask what your last post means? Why do you think it's the Uverse box? The Amazon stick is plugged directly into the TV and bypasses the uverse box, correct?
