My TV monitor flashes "no signal" when it should be providing a picture.
JA: What's the make and model of your tv? Have you had any issues with the picture before?
Customer: The TV is a VIZIO 1080 full HD, probably about a 48 inch screen. It is about eight years old, I think. We have not had problems with the TV, although we have had plenty of problems with Comcast and Xfinity. My distinct impression is that the problem is with the transmission, not with the TV.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It began last Thursday, November17. We were gone for the weekend. The only troubleshooting I have tried is unplugging it for a couple minutes and then restoring power.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
