Im trying to pair up my RCA TV to my cable and there is no code to do this. my tv doesnt respond to anynof nthe remotes i have, (2), not sure what remote goes with this TV. its an RCA guide plus, can you help?
JA: What's the make and model of your television? And is the remote the same, universal, or for another device?
Customer: RCA guide plus, not sure if remote is universal but no other devices. It use to work, but now it doesnt
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: yes the menu does work but the screen seems to be stuck on chanel 70
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: it might have been when the house keeper was cleANING UP IN THE ATTIC, and unplugged everything. could it be that i need new batteries in the remote?

Hello, Not sure of what "code" you're referring to that would allow the TV to accept cable, but in order to help I need more info from you:

1) What is the full model number off of the back of the RCA?

2) When you say "cable" are you referring to a direct coaxial cable from the wall, or using a cable box?

3) Whom is your cable provider?
