I want to relocate my FIOS set box from an upstairs

Customer Question

I want to relocate my FIOS set box from an upstairs room---to my Den.
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: Samsung, two years. The FIOS main control unit is located about ten feet
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: There is no PROBLEM with any sources/inputs!! I just want to relocate the set box from my bedroom upstairs to my Den.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: NOTHING HAPPENED!!! I just want to relocate the same unit to my Den, downstairs.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No.

Hi there and welcome

This is no problem as long as you have the Coaxial cable that goes into the box now from the network (wall socket), extended to your Den

So extend that cable to your Den and you can then relocate the box.
