Are you trying to use the speakers built into the tv or external speakers like sound bar/surround sound?
What are you connecting into the tv? antenna, cable (no box), satellite box, cable box, dvd, game, etc
Do you have the original Samsung remote that goes with the tv?
Are you with the tv now?
Please press MENU
goto INTERNAL MUTE
make sure it's set to OFF
