JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: LG TV HOTEL 37LC5DC, I CAN NOT
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: NO MENU, NO INPUT FUNCTION
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: JUST PURCHASED IT. HOTEL UPGRADED AND SOLD ALL THE OLD TVS

You can turn off hotel mode in the installation menu.

You can do this using a special hotel remote control, or a universal remote control.

To enter Installation menu from a universal remote control, you need to:

  • Choose any TV channel (it might not work if other input is selected)
  • Press and hold MENU button on the remote control until TV's menu appears, disappears and channel info appears.
  • Quickly release MENU button, enter 1105 and press OK.
