I biught a phillips remote is not phillips but works on channels already set up, am trying to channel scan & storemanually, I am at Settings assistant start now menu don't know how nto begin telling tvto start sccan
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Philips is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: 32-hf5335D/27
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: the menu button on side if tv work fine, on't know what you mean by sources/inputs, I did plug in my dvd player, have not used it yet, sshould bI ubplug the Dvd?
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I bought the tv from a resort vacation 3 wks ago, have not hooked up till this week I get some cable channels (stored at hotel) remote works on those channels, yestrday ws able to get channel 15 to watch presitial news,then channel 15 nwas nnot stored,I did something to access othe channels too but I am not storing properly, our local tv rrrpair tv man says I can do this manually by using buttons on side of tv, I was able to get to settings assistant start now, and other options appeaer, do I choose channel insted, i just don't know thx
