Okay try going into the network setup, and manually change the DNS setting to 18.104.22.168 and let me know if that helps.
Okay we will need to do a manual update on the tv as a next step, can you give me the full model number (there should be more after the G), and go into the settings menu and tell me what you see as the current firmware version?
