I can not turn off closed caption on my new 80" TV
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: 2016, not sure of the model number, do you need it?
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: menu works but it does not give me a display for closed caption. I read the instruction manual, pg 39, still no help
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: 2 weeks, looked like a software update might have occurred?
JA: Anything else you want the tv expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: nope, just simply want the cc text off
