JA: What's the make and model of your television? And is the remote the same, universal, or for another device?

JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: at first tv wood come after 10 to 6o minutes, now not at all.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?

What is the tv doing now if anything ?
Is there a light or blinking light at the front , clicking sound from inside when you plug in the power cord or try to turn it on ?
Or completely dead no activity whatsoever ?

O.k then if this started gradually and getting worse with time like repeated attempts or longer before it would turn on then that was pointing to weak/vented capacitors on this 7 years old tv but now we are talking about a defective power supply circuit
