I just replaced the main board and wondering if it needs to

Customer Question

I just replaced the main board and wondering if it needs to have a service reset to get it to work. It will see the input when something is plugged in but it wont show a picture. The menu comes up and looks normal.
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: lg 50px950
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: tv menu works and I get this from all the inputs.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: it started saying "no input found" I found a used working main board and put that in but its doing the same thing.
JA: Anything else you want the tv expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no, thanks

Hello, my name is***** to Justanswer! Give me just a few minutes to look up some specifics, I'm working on this now.

When you replaced the main board, something may have fried the digital HDMI circuit. Check the yellow input, and tell me if that one works.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
No problem.
I did that, RCA inputs do the same, "no input"I think my main question will be is there a Technician "reset" that I can do after replacing the board. On my Sharp TV I had to do a technical reset by pressing power and a volume button...
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I can do a call, but I will need to do that in say about 45 minutes.
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I am hoping there is a reset that I can try first thought.
Expert:  littlerusty2005 replied 3 months ago.

Don't worry about the call, those are automated emails from a computer. I'm looking into the service reset.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
great, thanks!

Click here. It's the complete service manual. The answer has to be in there somewhere, I'm looking now.

Expert:  littlerusty2005 replied 3 months ago.

Open that document, and press CTRL+F. Type reset, and it will show you all of the available resets. There are a lot.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I see that, what I didn't see was a "press and hold power and _____ button to reset unit"...
did you see anything like that?
Expert:  littlerusty2005 replied 3 months ago.

It doesn't seem to be that easy for this one. There is a service remote, and manual resets for each board.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
you probably have to use the service remote to access those resets?
Well, it was still worth a try.
thanks!
