The volume level on my Samsung 530 is fixed in the loudest

Customer Question

The volume level on my Samsung 530 is fixed in the loudest possible setting and won't budge, when I went to the setting, all messages are flickering and I cant navigate. My cable is through DirecTV, I get programming, however, I am unable to adjust the sound, either manually, through the Samsung remote or the DirecTV remote.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Samsung Series 5 530 LCD
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yes, it works through the cable, however, as I said I am unable to change the volume either through my Samsung remote or the DirecTV remote. I don't understand what you mean by sources/inputs.
JA: I hope not.
Customer: What do you mean, "I hope not". Is this a joke?
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It was working fine last night, I went to turn on the TV the through the DirecTV remote, the picture came on but the volume was turned to the "100" position and won't budge.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Other than I can't navigate the settings either.

No. The sound bar on the left of the TV is visible and stays on at 100
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Is the $26 in addition to the $5 and $23?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Did you get my last question?
Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 7 months ago.

OK with you

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I asked whether the $26 is in addition to the $28 already provided?
Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 7 months ago.

If you see any messages particular ones for a phone call they are not from me but the site, I do not use the phone call facility myself only this texting method which I consider the best way, if however you want to use the phone call option this will go to a board for another tech to take up, if a tech considers this viable by phone he will ring you, otherwise if you do not want it please ignore it thanks.

Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 7 months ago.

Yes the phone call is extra so I do not use it anyhow

Expert:  Anthony_Infotech replied 7 months ago.

OK so its stuck on 100, you have done what I said about the remote control?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I did as you asked ... no difference.
