hi! i have a samsung smart tv! the trouble is that its not connecting to the wireless router! It was not a problem before..........this just suddenly happened! please help!!!
JA: How old is your Samsung, and have you tried unplugging it and leaving it off for a few hours?
Customer: about 2 years! and no i didnt try to unplug the tv
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: yes the menu works and no everything else works perfectly
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: about 1 week! nothing that i can remember happened
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: only that it affects only the smart tv... i have two

Ok, unplug your TV, then unplug your router. Wait one minute. Plug them both back up, wait for your router to boot up completely, and tell me if your TV will connect.

Ok, what is the model number of your TV? I want to take a look at the network settings, and see if it is trying to connect, or if it's just sitting idle needing to be connected.

Ok, let's take a look. Go into your setup menu, and go to your network settings. Does it say it's connected to a network?

Nope! Jus says to connect to ur wired network plug in a network cable

Ok, if your router is close enough, connect your TV to your router. That will be the fastest connection.

If it is not close enough to your TV, select wireless as your network connection, and select your network, choose WEP as your connection, and enter your password. That should connect the TV to the network. Let me know if you have any trouble.
