Does the new color wheel spin at all?
Also, make sure everything is plugged back in correctly.
Then if thats all ok, check the tiny micro switch on the lamp door. They fail often and this is the result. Also you may have not set it correctly to move in the right direction as you close the door. This would cause this problem ;-)
That switch should be tested for operation with a meter;-) Open close.
In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete.
Please rate my service kindly.
Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you.
Once you rate, I will be notified and will add your question to my priority list so you can reach me anytime until this problem is solved.

Thank you and have a great day!
Thank you..... While reassembling the replacement color wheel broke..... I've just decided to upgrade to a new projector.
If you have any recommendations on a model under $4,000 that would be great..... I believe there is a Sony that I am going to look at
Hi there are so many good TV's out there right now, i would recommend an LED one, they have awesome pic clarity and High Definition as well;-)
They cost a lot less than the one you bought years ago anyway and have way more features and are compatible with all of today technology.
The ONLY brand I would stay away from is Panasonic, their electronic products these days have been having a lot of failures.
Right now, I would go with a Sony or an LG brand.
Best Buy and Sears both are great places for one like this.
I wish you all the best with your new TV!
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Please rate kindly so I can close out for you. No additional cost for that;-)
