Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Usually people want to disable Hotel Mode. You are trying to enable it.

This works on 2014 TVs:

using the original remote for the TV, not a substitution or 'universal' remote:

may get you where you need to be on the TV.

Does that work on yours?

Please let me know - so that I may help you further if it does not work on yours, or so that this case may be closed. Thanks.

No it doesn't work . The tv is brand new

I don't want a call just a written response

Just ignore the offer of phone call service, that's OK. It's a message from the system, not from me.

Can you indicate what model the TV is, please? some indication would help.

That is no doubt a serial number, since it is not found as a model #.

But thanks for making the effort to look that up. If the model # can be found, that would advance the case considerably.

I never agreed to the payment of 35.46 to be taken from my credit card only the amount of 5.52. Also I still haven't been given an answer to my original question. Please refund to my credit card

Thank you for letting us know, Murray.

(I would have better been able to answer the question if the model # of the TV had been stated, I may say in parting.)

I have passed your request for a refund, on to Customer Support at, since I cannot process it myself (as a Expert, I have no power over billing, payments, charges, etc.)

Thank you . That was the model number I gave you but I will double check it when I get a chance

Let me know, please. (That, "UA47K5500", looks like a serial number, and is not found when searched for. So it is likely to not be the model. If you can at least provide the model line name, that might help me to answer your question workably and well. Thanks!)
