I used to have cable tv but now I use an indoor antenna. However, I can't get my remote to work anymore. Plus, when I try to use the "channel search" function on the tv menu I can't choose it.
JA: What is the exact make and model of your tv? And how long has this been an issue?
Customer: Its a Sceptre X42. and it started right after I cancelled cable tv
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: I think one of the problems is that my tv remote was coded for the cable box and I don't know how to recode it for the tv
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It started right after I disconnect cable tv, about 5 months ago. I hooked up a roku box then. But Last week is the first time I tried to use the tv menu. The other options work. But I have to stand by the tv and use the buttons on the side.
