Customer Question

My LG 32LE5300 tv has no sound. Worked fine the other day, but now no sound. Picture is perfect. No other problem.
JA: Has this happened before? And have you tried unplugging your LG and leaving it off for a few hours?
Customer: Never happened before. Tried both of those already.
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yes
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Nothing that I know of. It's been several weeks now. Just been using the tv downstairs, but would like to resolve this problem.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nope

Hello

Welcome

You may have done this or done half of this but please do it this way with the 5 minute time factor

Please re-boot any satellite or cable box you may be using by unplugging the box from wall-power wait 5 mins then re-plug back in again, it will be a good idea to do the same with the TV at the same time.

We find software glitches within the box can cause this

Let me know how this works out, if it works out good would you please rate the answer positively by using the rating bar of stars usually at the top of the page with this post

Any issues let me know please

Thanks again

Anthony

OK what I need to know now is this the same if you use another input like a DVD player for example?do you have another input to try?if not (and I am sorry for the hassle) you will need to borrown one as this is the only way of eliminating the box from the TV itself
