My remote doesn't work, I've changed the batteries and I've checked that the button aren't stuck. It may have drop to the floor. What can be the problem?
JA: What's the model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: Sorry, I didn't see your question, it's the 32" LED TV and DVD combo, I bought it Dec 2015.
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Well I can get the menu to come on screen but without the remote I can't change anything.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: About a week ago, I realize the remote wasn't working. I don't remember if there was a problem before.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no.

but I put a DVD in the slotandthatchanged it to DVDs mode andican'tchange it back , I want my remote to work but short of buying another one I don't see how I'm going to be able to watch tv again.

You dont have an INPUT or SOURCE button directly on the tv (for now) ?

Your tv should have a source or input button that you can use until you get a new remote .

Although this tv and remote should still be under warranty , it may be easier ( and cheaper )to buy a new one for some $20 usually than claiming the warranty .
