I have a Magnavox small TV, repair man unhooked it so I could watch in LR until new set arrived. I have a black cable and a white cable and I can't figure out where to put them. Possible places to put them are; green, purple, orange, white, red and blue. Can you help, please

What is it you are trying to connect to this tv , a cable box ?

Cable (Comcast) told me it was a cablebox but there is no box. I have not even plugged it in to electricity yet. Have a black cable that looks like the one to my computer and a white csable, both have a wire in the center

Like for example a box that comes with a cable company remote ?

Comcast charges for a box, but the guy told me it was just the way this was hooked up with the white cable, I think.
