I have a Mitsubishi TV That I am trying to repair for a customer,I installed a new main board which fixed the power problem but now every few minets the-- Auto Output Sensing (AVR) window pops up...it says Connection detected for audio out to an AV reciever.
There is nothing connected except the HDMI for the cable box.
I have done a "soft reset" also a "hard reset". MEnu ****
I also tried doing a firmware update but the set won't take the update,,,actually it erases my USB drives....!!!
I installed another MAin board and it does the same thing.
IS anyone a specialist with Mitsubishi TV's ...???

I was following mitsubishi customer support on the phone.....the soft reset was just holding the power button for 10 secs......
I don't remember the exact numbers for the hard reset,,,,I actually did 2 different ones both were to press menu then four numbers...the set would show a screen that said "initialize" and press enter/

Was the reset:

MENU 2470, move cursor to highlight INIT, press ENTER ?

or

MENU 123, Initialize, press enter?
