Customer Question

TH-P50X50Z we had a power cut and in the process the TV must have suffered a failure as it will not now turn on. There is definitely power to set but there is no power indication at all.
JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and has turning it on been a problem in the past?
Customer: TH-P50X50Z Panasonic and yes this has happened before but seemed to rectify itself.
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: There is no life to TV at all it does not turn on. It does not achieve standby.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Only since power cut. Not aware of anything happening before.
JA: Anything else you want the TV expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Hi, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, is the Panasonic TH-P50X50Z completely / electrically dead?

Are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? If yes, do you have access to and familiar with a multi-meter and even a soldering iron?
