Customer Question

My ten year old CRT style Toshiba TV will not turn on. This happened once before recently and after a few days it turned on again. Like new!. Then, after 3-4 days ,off again and still off. No power to it at all.
I love thus TV and would like to keep it if possible. I do not like these flat screens.
Please advise.
Regards,
Joan Reif

Hi Joan, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, bear with us; re-confirm and post back with the complete model number of the Toshiba.

Still, the described symptom almost always point to an internal hardware issue.

Are you then considering a DIY (do-it-yourself) repair approach? If yes, do you have access to and familiar with a multi-meter and even a soldering iron?
