Usually on Sony remote you would use the INPUT button or TV/VIDEO button (depends on what model you have)....

Try this:

-reseat the connection cables that go from the comcast box to the tv on both ends (back of tv and back of comcast box).

-make a note of what port is used on the back of the tv (they are all labeled).

-put the tv on that input.

-leave the tv on, reboot the cable box by unplugging the power cord that goes to the comcast box for 10 seconds.
