I just bought a new 21 inch Acer monitor and plugged it into my MacBook.I installed the Acer disc in my MacBook but nothing comes up.What do you think the problem might be ??

Hi there and welcome

It sounds like it may not yet be enabled, please do the following

  1. Make sure your additional display is properly connected and powered on.
  2. From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
  3. From the View menu, choose Displays.
  4. Click the Arrangement tab.
  5. Enable (check) "Mirror Displays" in the bottom-left corner.

Do you then see the image on the second screen?
